Multiple Scattering Equation for Two Particle-One Hole System and Generalized Vertex in Core Polarization of Nuclei. II: Polarization Charges

Abstract
The two particle-one hole multiple scattering equation is solved, giving the generalized vertices responsible for a nuclear core polarization. The adopted G-matrix is free from double counting ambiguity. Roles of various correlations are studied in detail and also in relation to characteristics of the G-matrix, especially its velocity its velocity dependence and G(3S1) to G(1S0) ratio. Importance of eliminating spurious centre-of-mass excitation is shown. The E2 polarization charges in A=17 nuclei are calculated.
