Abstract
The concentration of Se was measured in grain from wheat, barley and oats grown at 12 different locations throughout Manitoba. Concentrations in individual samples ranged from deficient (< 0.1 mg kg−1 DM) to higher than the maximum tolerable (> 2.0 mg kg−1 DM) by livestock. Within a location, the concentration of Se in a grain differed (P < 0.05) among years. Key words: Selenium, grain, wheat, barley, oats, ManitobaKeywords
