Abstract
The ethics of professionals are different from the ethics of the community at large Conduct which would be unethical by community standards is ethical within the context of a profession. This article examines the ways in which a different professional ethic can be justified and, by reference to a contemporary play, considers the consequences of such justifications.Keywords
