Abstract

This paper reviews the present status of recent bremsstrahlung experiments and their comparison with theoretical calculations. A significant disagreement with predictions based on the Hamada‐Johnston potential is observed. It is also pointed out that experimental techniques exist which would make it possible to perform very accurate and comprehensive bremsstrahlung experiments.
