Abstract
The authors present data about the negative and doubtful psychological indications for artificial insemination by donor (A.I.D.) among their population interviewed between 1979 and 1985. A very small percentage of negative indications (3%) and a rather high percentage of doubtful cases (17%) emerges from these data. The authors underline the usefulness of the psychological consultation to complete the evaluation of the request and to prevent situations ‘at risk’ with regard to the couple and offspring. Keywords
