Abstract
We present a measurement of mixing parameters using the ratios of lifetimes extracted from a sample of mesons produced through the process , which decay to , , or . The lifetimes of the -even, Cabibbo-suppressed modes and are compared with that of the -mixed, Cabibbo-favored mode to obtain a measurement of , which in the limit of conservation corresponds to the mixing parameter . The analysis is based on a data sample of collected by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy collider. We obtain , which is evidence for mixing at the level, and , where constrains possible violation. Combining this result with a previous BABAR measurement of obtained from a separate sample of events, we obtain .
