Optical Schrodinger-cat states in a directional coupler

Abstract
The evolution of an optical Schrodinger-cat state in a linear coupler is presented. It is shown how the quantum interference of the cat state deteriorates and recovers along the channels of the device. A similar behaviour of the photon number distribution pattern is noted.Keywords
