Abstract
We consider the possibility of measuring the magnetic moment at the W boson at a heavy-ion collider. We find that the cross section for the process Pb+Pbγγe±νeμνμ is very sensitive to this parameter and that a 3σ measurement of 35% seems possible at the CERN Large Hadron Collider and a precision of 8% or so at the Superconducting Super Collider, given an integrated luminosity of 0.1 pb1.
