Abstract
We comment on a recent paper which presents two rather remarkable statements on the quantum-mechanical one-dimensional problem of N equal mass particles interacting via the potential We point out that the first statement, concerning the bound-state spectrum, is the special case, corresponding to the `Coulomb' potential , of a more general result, valid for any `radial' potential v(r), while the second statement, concerning the scattering regimes, does not hold. Keywords
