Effect of Microwave and Magnetic Field on A. C. Josephson Currents

Abstract
When microwave and magnetic field are applied to Josephson junction simultaneously, maximum Josephson currents I J n of zero slope region in I-V characteristics are periodic in magnetic field. The phase difference between (n+1)th mode and n–th mode of I J n was (1/λ0 d)·(h c/2e) as expected theoretically. Josephson junction has a discrete voltage n h f/2e for both signs n=±1, ±2..., if microwave and magnetic field are applied to junction simultaneously. Uncertainty in the sign of induced voltage makes it probable to realize a logic element.
