Abstract
The morphology of a polypropylene and polyamide blend has been investigated with the Rheoplast rheometer which allows us to apply a well defined thermomechanical history before the capillary flow. The polymer flow in the Rheoplast has been modeled using a homogenization hypothesis for the rheology. Correlations between the different observed morphologies and shear rates, elongational rates as well as dissipated energies are discussed. Keywords
