Abstract
Computer simulation is used to investigate the distribution of refractive error, generating two models based on corneal power, anterior chamber depth, lens power, and axial length for several samples (N = 1000). Discrepancies between simulated and observed data indicate that emmetropization is a more complex process than is accounted for by intercorrelations among components. Keywords
