Abstract
Electron microscope study of tumorous spleen from chickens with erythroblastosis RPL-12 Strain revealed changes in the cytoplasm of cells of the effected spleen similar to those observed in spleen from chickens with visceral lymphomatosis. Particles with characteristic structure have been found in inclusion-like bodies in the cytoplasm and in intercellular spaces. The particles measure from 650 A to 830 A in diameter and are similar in size to those found in visceral lymphomatosis. The characteristic particles in visceral lymphomatosis and in erythroblastosis RPL-12 Strain appear to be larger than similar particles observed in granuloblastosis and erythroblastosis Strain R.Keywords
