Antiproton-proton charge exchange between 1 and 3 GeV/c

Abstract

We have measured the reaction cross section for

\bar{p} p \to \bar{n} n

in small momentum steps between 0.97 and 3.13 Gev/c to a high level of statistical accuracy. Structures are observed in the vicinity of

P_{lab} = 1.25 \frac{GeV}{c} and 1.8 \frac{GeV}{c}

which are consistent with the structure observed in the

\bar{p} p

total cross section.
