Abstract
New records of Thespesiopsyllus paradoxus were made in Raunefjorden, near Bergen. Nauplii were taken from the stomach wall of the brittle-star, Ophiura albida. Copepodids and adults were obtained in plankton samples using a Beyer bottom-net at depths between 30 and 245 m, and by rearing nauplii in the laboratory. There are six copepodid stages, the last being the adult, and the hitherto unknown male is described. Possible relationship between T. paradoxus and cancerillid copepods is suggested.
