Abstract
Possible explanations for the unusual abundance of the n=4 peak in the recent experimental mass spectra of helium clusters generated by Buchenau et al. are considered since theoretical calculations reveal that the He atom is bound by only 0.02–0.03 eV in He+4 relative to He+3.Keywords
