Abstract
The dynamics of a driven electron wavepacket are studied for very high laser intensities. The study is based on a superposition of a large number of relativistic Volkov states. For high intensities, the magnetic component of the laser field induces a significant drift in the electron motion as well as a squeezing of the wavepacket. Keywords
