PEROXIDATION OF LIPIDS AND ANTIOXIDATIVE ACTIVITY OF ACETYLENE AMINES

Abstract

Acetylene amines inhibited lipid peroxidation both in the enzymatic and non-enzymatic peroxidation systems of rats. The inhibitory effect of these compounds depends upon the degree of compound unsaturation. An increase in unsaturation is also attended by an increased inhibition of lipid peroxidation.
