Abstract
A sphere is situated near an oscillatory source. Assuming high-frequency oscillations, the Navier–Stokes equation is solved using matched asymptotic expansions. The nonlinear steady streaming shows multiplicity of recirculating cells. The sphere also experiences a steady force directed towards the source.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
