Abstract
In this paper we compare three methods for deducing the effective pair potential that describes the double-layer interaction between colloidal particles in a concentrated dispersion. The structure factors and small-time behaviour of the intermediate scattering function predicted by these models are compared with results obtained from laser and neutron-scattering experiments.Keywords
