Abstract
The action of heme, hemoglobin and other hemoproteins on crude and purified [delta] -amtnolevulate dehydratase of human erythrocyte is described. The results show a feedback inhibition by heme of porphyrin synthesis at the level of erythrocyte [delta] -aminolevulate dehydratase. Some kinetic characteristics of this inhibition are described. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
