Abstract
Polarization of fluorescence is a sensitive and direct method for studying antigen-antibody interactions. Examples are given of titrations of the B chain of insulin, coupled to PAH and fluorescein against antipara-aminohippurate, and fluoresceinated ribonuclease and bovine serum albumin against their antibodies. The utility of the method in measuring interaction between univalent antibody fragment and antigen is likewise demonstrated. Rotational relaxation times for antigen-antibody complexes in various proportions are determined. Keywords
