Abstract
Due to inherent difficulties in the construction of tube solarimeters by ‘conventional’ techniques, an alternative method is presented. Construction is based on the use of printed circuit boards, and further simplified mechanical procedures were employed. Response was linear over the range up to 600 W m−2 total solar radiation, at a mean calibration constant of 26 mV kW−1 m−2.Keywords
