Abstract
For successful spermatogenesis, male germ cells must adhere tightly to their support cells, called Sertoli cells, in the testis. A Perspective by Muramatsu discusses new work ( Akama et al.) that identifies a unique oligosaccharide attached to a germ cell glycoprotein that binds to Sertoli cells.Keywords
