Abstract
The structure factor S(Q) and radial distribution function G(r) of a Fe83B17 metallic glass have been obtained by neutron diffraction. S(Q) has a sharp, intense first peak and a well defined second peak shoulder. Structural variations are observed in G(r) out to r approximately=15AA, and the second peak splitting in G(r) is normal. The coordination number obtained is slightly higher than the values obtained from x-ray experiments. Keywords
