Abstract
The roentgenologic appearance of the esophagus in a patient with leukemia and esophageal moniliasis is presented. Roentgenologic examination because of dysphagia revealed marked irregularity, narrowing, and rigidity of the esophagus. This was due to a pseudo-membrane produced by an extremely thick growth of Candida albicans, which lined almost the entire esophageal mucosa.
