Abstract
A model for bodies with shape memory which has been proposed by Müller [1] can be made to simulate creep and strain hardening of such bodies at low temperatures. The model will do so if a simple evolution law for the transition between martensitic twin configurations is postulated and if a prescription about the distribution of loads within the model is accepted. A numerical evaluation of the formulas permits predictions about the behavior of the model under dynamic loading and for various conditions of thermal contact with the environment. Keywords
