Abstract
A patient with a dissecting hematoma of the internal carotid artery following chiropractic neck manipulation is described. This injury, apparently previously unreported in the literature, is thought to be caused by trauma to the artery by rotatory movement of the neck and pressure against the artery by the transverse process of C-2.Keywords
