Specific Heat of Liquid

Abstract
The specific heat of liquid has been measured at saturated vapor pressure and at three elevated pressures in the temperature range 0.054 to 0.3°K. No evidence of a transition to a correlated superfluid phase was found. At the lowest temperatures the specific heat was nearly proportional to in agreement with other recent measurements. Entropy values are calculated at each pressure. Measurements at pressures above the minimum in the melting curve show no anomalous behavior. Measurement of the expansion coefficient of the liquid below 0.1°K confirms that the expansion coefficient is negative.
