Abstract
When using GLC as a production method for the separation of rather large quantities of substances, the question of industrial efficiency is of the greatest importance. It may serve as a comparison with competing separating techniques and as a basis for the choice of optimum processing conditions. An equation has been formulated for this purpose which gives the connection between the quantities which can be separated in time and the chromatographic parameters. Knowing the cost of the process allows the calculation of the manufacturing price of materials separated by GC.Keywords
