Abstract
Six patients, in the newborn age group, with unusual facial tumors are reported; 2 of the tumors were well differentiated adenocarcinomas of the parotid gland and 4 were teratomas in the facial area. There were many points of similarity among all 6, both in clinical and roentgenographic findings. However, the two types of lesions were different on histologic examination and hence probably are distinct pathologic entities. A more complete description of the unusual adenocarcinoma of the parotid gland in the newborn will be presented by one of us (G. V.) in another communication. Keywords
