Abstract
Because creative dramatics is flexible and entertaining, it has gained popularity as a medium for teaching verbal fluency, spontaneity, and originality. Teachers should not underestimate the value of creative drama by limiting its scope to these objectives, however. Synpractic and social language, differentiation, categorization, and constructive alternativism, all vital to a child's cognitive processes, can be advanced as well. Keywords
