Abstract
A 60-year-old Nicaraguan farmer with unusually large and widespread lesions of cutaneous chromoblastomycosis due to Hormodendrum pedrosoi developed two large anaplastic epidermoid carcinomas in areas of chronic hyperplasia. The carcinomas were excised and the grafts healed well, even though the extensive lesions did not respond well to 2,500 mg of intravenous amphotericin B.
