Abstract
Summary: Antiovalbumin serum prepared in rabbits was iodinated with radioiodine without destroying its ability to precipitate specifically with ovalbumin. The antibody thus specifically precipitated was found to contain iodine. Antirat-kidney serum similarly iodinated, upon inoculation into rats, localized in the kidney, while iodinated antiovalbumin serum or normal serum showed no such localization. This demonstrates that the zone of activity of antikidney serum is the kidney.
