Abstract
This is a detailed and critical review of the book, The Neuropsychology of Learning Disorders, edited by R. M. Knights and D.J. Bakker and published in 1976 by University Park Press. Each chapter represents an original paper presented at the first International NATO Conference on Learning Disabilities held in 1975 in Kørsor, Denmark. The papers, presented by researchers from both Europe and North America, cover problem areas of epidemiology, physiological and biochemical correlates, genetic and maturational variables, and some research models. A concluding chapter by Spreen provides an evaluative summary of the knowledge of the field as reflected by the presented papers and the essential aspects of it which were omitted.
