Abstract
Results of room-temperature experiments with a multiple-quantum-well, nonlinear, contradirectional coupler are reported. A power-dependent, contradirectional coupling condition is demonstrated, inducing an optically controlled switching of optical signals, with a switching energy of 1 pJ.Keywords
