Abstract
A new silver technic, tested on the brain of the rat, is described, especially suitable for demonstrating terminal degeneration within the central nervous system. It is a modification of the Glees method, designed to avoid use of tap water in preparing solutions. Some of the chemical principles underlying the process of reductive liberation of metallic silver from ammoniacal silver nitrate solutions are discussed. Keywords
