Abstract
Three turkey rhinotracheitis isolates obtained from different laboratories were compared by electron microscopy, polypeptide analysis, double immunodiffusion and cross neutralisation tests. The results obtained showed that the three viruses were morphologically and antigenically similar. It is suggested that turkey rhinotracheitis viruses belong to the Pneumovirus genus. Keywords
