Abstract
According to Dengel et al. [1] a transition (believed to be ferroelectric) occurs in ice near 100 °K. Specific heat measurements in this temperature range show the existence of two peaks, at 104 and132 °K, respectively. The excess heat and the transition entropy corresponding to these peaks amount to (4.3 ± 0.8) cal/mol and to about 0.04 cal/mol °K, respectively. Keywords
