Abstract
This preliminary study indicates that couples in whom the husband scores 20 or more T-score points higher than his wife on the Mf scale of the MMPI come into group psychotherapy with significantly more distress than do couples with a low Mf index. The high-index couples also appear to benefit more from psychotherapy than do couples with a low Mf index. Keywords
