Abstract
Hamster adapted equine abortion virus was propagated in chick embryos. Characteristic intranuclear inclusions were demonstrated in liver parenchymal cells of chick embryos and hamsters receiving serial passage chick embryo liver. The complement fixation reaction indicates that the specificity of the egg adapted virus was maintained. Keywords
