Abstract
The synthesis of chiral side chain polysiloxanes from poly(hydrogenmethylsiloxane) and chiral 4′—(ω—alkenoyloxy)phenyl 4-((S)4—methylhexyloxy)benzoates is described. The mesomorphic properties of these new side-chain polysiloxanes are discussed. Keywords
