Abstract
Two drugs, Th1165a* and salbutamol,† having a promising potential as bronchodilators and producing low cardiac stimulation, have been examined for their structural features. These were found to be similar and have been noted as possibly characteristic of the particular β2-adrenoceptor site. Th1165 consists of two enantiomers possessing an (R-R) or (S-S) configuration about the two centres of asymmetry. Keywords
