Abstract
A plan is presented which brings together three elements: the clinical stage of disease, the age of the patient, and the treatment regimes available. It is a practical and systematic yet flexible approach to the successful treatment of a given ingrown toenail. A general outline and specific detail of conservative and surgical technique are offered. Keywords
