Abstract
The preceding article illustrates the increased need and interest in marketing research applications in the urban core. Because of the physical characteristics of housing in these areas, as well as demographic factors, specialized approaches are required. This article focuses on problems and approaches in developing probability samples and in securing interviewers, as well as some of the factors to be considered in developing questionnaires. Difficulties in interviewing non-white and ethnic minorities are examined in some detail. Keywords
