Abstract
An earlier time-series of the annual mean latitude of the north wall of the Gulf Stream is updated to give a series of values from 1966 to 1990. The trend is similar to those seen in plankton from the Continuous Plankton Recorder Survey around the British Isles. This connection may reflect the displacement of storm tracks across the North Atlantic. Keywords
