Abstract
Two new species of podapolipid mites, Dorsipes tefflii and D. auncinius, are described, illustrated, and compared with related species of Dorsipes in the platysmae group. Both species are ectoparasites of Tefflus zebulianus reichardi Kolbe collected in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. These are the 1st records of Dorsipes in Africa. Keys to the ten species of Dorsipes are provided. Keywords
