Two aspects of recent developments in enantioselective organic synthesis involving diazocarbonyl intermediates are highlighted: the introduction of chiral catalysts for asymmetric transformations and the use of enantiopure diazoketones derived from amino acids and peptides as chiral educts.Keywords
