Abstract
Two groups of rats were exposed to 11 sesions, and a 3rd group to 10 sessions, of a regular reinforcement procedure reinforced by milk. The groups differed with respect to strain of rat, age, degree of motivation, and length of session. For all conditions, asymptotic response rates were not approximated until after 6-12 hr. of exposure to the schedule, even when the "warm-up" part of each session was discarded. Interresponse times showed sequential dependency of any IRT [interresponse times] upon the length of the immediately preceding IRT in a manner similar to earlier findings on DRL.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
