Abstract
T. deliensis, a proven vector of scrub typhus in Burma, was collected 15 mi. southwest of Kunming, China, at an elevation of 6,000 ft., on Tupaia belangeri chinensis, Erothenomys m. miletus, Rattus c. confucianus, Drenomys pernyi flavior, and Dryonastes sannio. The occurrence of this mite on an insectivore, rodents of 3 genera, and a bird shows that it will accept a variety of hosts. These represent new host and locality records for this species of mite. This is the first time that T. deliensis has been recorded from China. Keywords
